Graduate from physical faculty OmSU in 1983. Post-graduate of Tomsk State University. In 1989 she was defended Ph.D's thesis "Study of processes to ionizing and forming the negative ions in non-ideal gas".

Since 1983 M.P.Lankina works at chair of general physicis of OmSU.

1995 - associate professor.

At present she works on D.Sci.' thesis "Didactic bases of learning the students to methods of decision of problems in general course physicists".

The Area of scientific interests is strategy of teaching of physicis in high school and in school.

Lankina is author of 34 publications, 6 of them are articles and 17 are reports on international, republican and zonal conferences.
