Ekaterina M. Smirnova
Ph. D. in Pedagogy, professor.

      In 1967 she graduated from Leningrad State Institute of Culture and obtained a speciality "Librarian-bibliographer of technical libraries". From 1968 to 1972 after graduating from the institute she worked at East-Siberian State Institute of Culture (Ulan-Ude, Russia) where she protected her dissertation for the degree of Ph. D. in 1979. Since 1985 she works at the division of library-knowledge and bibliography of Omsk branch of Altai State Institute of Culture and Art .
      Scientific interests: informational resources of social an technical profile. She published about 50 scientific works. Some of them are:
