V.V. Kovrizhkin graduated from the Mechanics-Mathematical Department of the Novosibirsk State University in 1970. Dissertation: "The smoothess of the weak solutions of the Darboux problem and the Tricomi problem".
His basic scientific interests are concentrated on partial differentioal equations (equations and systems of mixed type).
Kovrizhkin was born in 22/11/1946. Hobby: football.
