Marc Lemaire In May 1997, the Leader project embarked as an educational partnership with the Commerce Studies Branch of Omsk State University. The Leader project represents the Richard Ivey School of Business of the University of Western Ontario in Canada. The aim of the relationship is to teach a three week Introductory Business skills course in a market driven economy. Using the Case Method of teaching, the goals are to develop a consistent decision making process to enable managers to make quality decisions under conditions of uncertainty. The course brings a western prospective to help Russian managers be better prepared for Joint Venture opportunities as well as complete a global marketplace. OMSK For us, Omsk is a beautiful city filled with rich history and traditions. It's residents are charming and generously hospitable people. It is a place where you feel optimism in the air and where change is looked at with a positive outlook. Our stay here was terrific and is highly recommended for all.
